Amor Johnson, born in Lagos, Nigeria, but now established in France, began practising photography at the age of 25, initially using Polaroid and analogue cameras to shoot portraits, and to photograph weddings, birthday parties and child naming ceremonies plus other types of photographies as requested.

Initially she was a self-taught photogapher, but when she moved to Europe, she enrolled in courses at Paul Valéry University where she studied the history of European Painting, then attended the Nikon School in London, a  photographic workshop, and later she studied at private photography school, Studio M, here in Montpellier.

When she is not working for clients, Amor uses this precious time to create conceptual photography to convey different messages through her lens. Her inspiration is mostly derived from the work of painters from different artistic movements.
She considers herself as a surrealist photographer.
