Beyond a vibrant palette of complementary colors, broken tones, saturated hues, or cool and warm hues that blend together, we can discern, after an initial abstract impression, the full symbolism of each color (red, blue, and green correspond to the three celestial spheres: love, wisdom, and action or creation…) resulting in a realistic motif that potentially contains the ability to adapt to the sensitivity of the viewer.
These paintings can take names from the plant world, the mineral world, even the four elements or the cosmos.
Marie-Paule Fraisse reveals her sensitivity that is both restrained and sometimes raw, a very lively expressiveness supported by the balance of the composition, and ultimately a great mastery of the subject matter.
